Thoughts:
Well, this was a heartwarming piece to watch. Hiyori’s character was a bit annoying at some points, but all in all, she was okay. Yuushin I liked a lot, I think he was a really lovable character. Too bad that this didn’t become a series, would have loved to watch it. It has real potential, me thinks. Oh well, I guess I will stick with reading the manga then. Would recommend it if you are feeling down or are just looking for something simple and easy to cheer yourself up or just to pass the time. Oh, and here is the MMV which made me look for this to begin with:

Story (attention, spoiler alert!):
Nishiyama Hiyori is 15 years old and extremely shy and tiny on top of that. I would also go as far as to say, that she has a phobia of strangers. Her character kinda reminded me of Morino Ryoshi from Okamisan. She starts school a lot later then the others, because she has had a car accident.
School is scary business.
When the dreadful day of going to school comes, after hiding under the teachers desk and getting over the horrifying introduction part, she ends up being seated next her total opposite, namely Hirose Yuushin: a tall, friendly, easygoing guy. This coupling – much to her annoyance – brings Hiyori into almost constant spotlight. And the guy is just way too bothersome for her, he sleeps and snores during class, he speaks to her without a problem and he even gives her a nickname (chick).
Sleeping during class? How rude!
Hiyori’s devastated, but her only friend tells her to man up, since she it will do her good to open up and get friendly with Yuushin. Maybe she can even get over her fear of people and gain friends on the side. We all know what is about to happen next: Hiyori starts to sorta like Yuushin who even manages to make her laugh.
Smile, and good things will happen to you! Or so they say.
The next day she is put on duty with him, but when the teacher tells her to clean the blackboard, she is too scared to tell him that. She rushes out, but oh noes! Her skirt gets stuck in her panties or is flipped up or whatever, point is that her chick-panties are shown to the entire class.
What's up with those granny-panties?
Yuushin laughs at her, which causes her to flip out and run away. She hides away in a broom closet while everyone is searching for her. Eventually Yuushin finds her and cheers her up.
Don't cry, little one.
In the end the whole class decides to go out and play in the snow. Oh, what a lovely happy ending!
